A field of Cotton.. it almost looks like a snow storm..

.. Up close.. fluffy white cotton bolls..

Nearly ready for harvest.. Cotton is used to make so many different things.. terrycloth for bath towels and robes.. denim for blue jeans.. chambray.. the cloth used for those blue work shirts that started the term "blue-collar"... Socks.. underwear.. and most T-shirts are made from cotton... some bed sheets are made from cotton... Cotton also is used to make yarn used in crochet and knitting... I personally love hand crochet dish rags made from cotton.. cotton is also used in fishnets.. coffee filters.. tents.. gunpowder.. and in bookbinding.... Fire hoses were once made of cotton.
