Are those cupid dolls? They look like something I've seen in my childhood.
ReplyDeleteLots of angelic images; good mix.
ReplyDeleteOn behalf of the ABC Wednesday team, welcome, and thanks for participating! — ROG
I love your shot for isolation.
ReplyDeleteWanda- though not cupids they are all very old.. the pale one sat on a shelf in my elderly neighbors house... 30 years ago she offered it to me .. she said it was a baby shower gift when her oldest child was born.. her son had already died by then and she in her eighties.. one of the others I dug up while planting a rose bush when I moved here near 20 years ago and the other I found in a public park that was once along the beach in Beaufort SC.. I have had them all for years and years.. I love "babies".. I do own a few cupids and they will surely make it to the Photography table eventually..
ReplyDeleteRoger- Thanks for the welcome and thanks for hosting ABC Wednesday...
Noner- that shot was made by a friend for me of Alcatraz.. he actually made a bunch of shots from all different angles and sent them to me.. I cropped that one from a much larger shot.. I don't think you can get much more isolated than there.. I would love to go myself to visit some day!!
WATER
ReplyDeleteWater in a drop of rain,
Water swirling down the drain;
Water clinging to the trees,
Water filling up the seas;
Water frozen, water free,
Water is the stuff for me!
