I especially like the studs tied up with different colored lace, I sew and have plenty of that hanging around, never thought to photograph them!!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, all. My favorite is the beautiful ribbons.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Wordless Wednesday. I'd also invite you to throw your hat into the contest to win a $25 Amazon giftcard this month at my blog.
that sign could be a test for eyesight!
ReplyDeleteI hope a LOT of humans, because that is a LOT of house.

I always marvel at how you combine all these meme's in one post! The elephant ears with the rain drop is awesome! I enjoyed the other photos as well!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I came for the sepia link it's the frog and those handcuffs(?) that interested me.
ReplyDeleteNice shots all. The handcuffs and lace really jumped for me.
ReplyDeleteHello.
ReplyDeleteNice photos.
That house sure is big!
Humility Of A Flower
Love the elephants ears! A great quote for a great collection of shots!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Rosie and Deb~ the sticks with lace were markers for a family fun day when My oldest was in town for the first time in years.. they marked the path of a race we had arouind the yard and field..
ReplyDeleteRed and Pat ~ I love the elephant ears too.. they actually took over a shallow minnow pond that we made there for a turtle.. when it rains they fill up and then tip over to pour out..
Andy.. Roger and Linda~ yes that house is huge.. the photo really doesn't do it justice because I couldn't get all of it without power lines ect.. I laughed to see that the real estate sign list it as a two bedroom.. lol
Liz and Bob ~ I was standing behind the officer at a thing they have every third Thursday on the city circle.. I stole the picture of his cuffs.. he turned around just in time to see me take a picture of a skater.. giving me a frown he stomped off...
Lisa~ he did appear to be watching me.. I have lots of water here and in turn lots of frogs.. this little fellow was calling for a date.. but they are actually very hard to capture by the time you get him zoomed in and focused .. he is already gone..
Thanks to everyone for visiting me here.. have a great day!

Nice pictures, Patsy. The coastal building scene looks like oure outside today because of the fires. Actually I think our coast by Galveston is cleared by the wind.
ReplyDeleteYou lace arrangement is pretty. I've never said that before as a guy. But it is, espcially for the MW Blues.
Happy MidWeed Blues,
..
Lovely group of photos! I like the frog.
ReplyDeleteCool photos. Thanks for sharing.

All sorts of wonderful angles and directions going on in that sepia photograph Patsy.
ReplyDeleteI really like that first one with all the lines, shadows and angles
ReplyDeleteAll of these photos are lovely, especially stunning are the buildings...so sad about your job closing....hopefully you have good memories!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Love the leaf with the drop of water on it. Good job.

The frog and the leaf balancing the water are my favorites, even though they are all great in their own way. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! Every picture tells a little story. Since I'm here from Signs Signs I'll comment on that one -- it must be quite weird to see the place where you worked all shut down. That is happening so often these days -- too often!
ReplyDeleteA lovely series of photos. I came here, rather late, from Sepia Saturday.
ReplyDeleteNice set of shots. I am embarrassed to admit I am a week behind! Oh well, trying to get up today!
